Good luck Beavers!

It is hard for the Hurley's to support another college team, but with Auntie Kelsee at OSU we have a little place in our hearts for the Beavers. Unfortunately, the Huskies have lost their chance at a bowl game this season, but we wish the best of luck to the Beavers, beat the Ducks!!

Apple Cup '09

Here we are at the pre-game tailgate hosted by the Agnews, a truly divided, Husky/Cougar family. We are very excited to have the Apple Cup back in Husky territory. The game was a blow out, 30-0. Go Dawgs!

Matching Hurley-Girls!

We had a wonderful time at Uncle Kevin and Auntie's house for Thanksgiving! Kate did a great job with the Thanksgiving dinner, it was just delicious! Ashtyn and Ava had so much fun playing with their babies in their matching outfits, I just had to get a picture. It can be hard to get two 1-1/2 year olds to look at the camera and smile at the same time, this is the best I could get.

Thanksgiving Feast

Today was Ryder's Thanksgiving Feast at school. Both of the Kindergarten classes went into the sanctuary and the pastor asked all of them what they were thankful for. When it was Ryder's turn, in his not-so-quiet voice he said that he was thankful for his Dad, (because he is a Firefighter!), what about the thankfulness for mommy?? It was very sweet, too bad that Brian missed it. After that they all sat for a photo session with the paparazzi, AKA the mothers and grandmothers. Grandma and Ashtyn were there too and they had a wonderful feast to celebrate Thanksgiving, all wearing their pilgrim hats. It is so fun to see Ryder doing the same things in Kindergarten that Chase did.

The Little Gym

Oh how we love the Little Gym. Chase and Ryder loved the Little Gym too, Chase started going when he was about 2 and Ryder started at 18 months! I was sad when we stopped going a couple of years ago when the boys got older and school started. In September, Ashtyn made her debut and she loves it!! Especially the bars, as you can see in the picture. She likes to hang from the bar and can even bring her feet up to about her waist by herself and all the way up to the bar with some help! At the end of class they play with really soft bouncy balls, her favorite part of class.

It's no fun being sick

Ashtyn was sick most of last week. And this picture pretty much sums up the week! She only wanted me and mostly she only wanted me to hold her. She even slept with me 2 nights, kicking Daddy out of bed to sleep on the couch. But Brian was very sweet saying that he did it for his girls! The few times that she would hang by herself, without me holding her, was when she was watching TV. With pacifier and blanket she would sit and watch Diego and Dora. If anyone dared to change the channel she would get mad. She's finally back to herself to my relief!

Playoffs and Trophies

Flag Football is finally over! It was a bit of a long season for us. Chase had a few good games but not enough. As Brian gently puts it, "he has offensive lineman written all over him". Lets just say that it is unlikely that he will ever be a receiver. He did have fun and I suppose that is what is important and he really liked his trophy!

You have to read the funny thing he said over on the right at the top...
