The side of Ashtyn's crib wasn't going down, Brian had to take it a part to repair and we decided to just leave it off. She loves it! I wasn't too sure how it would work out, but so far so good. She has had a successful nap and bedtime laying in her "toddler bed". She hasn't fallen out and she has stayed in her room and fallen asleep all by herself.

Ryder Turns 6!

Yesterday, Ryder informed us that he wanted his room decorated in the morning for his birthday. I had to deliver...



Chase bought Ryder this coloring book at the dollar store with his own money, he is pretty proud of it! Ryder loved it!


Finally it is party time! Ryder wanted his best friend, Evan over to spend the night for his big day. And, he requested a green cake and mint chocolate chip ice cream. Can you guess what his favorite color might be?



Today was also Chase's last day of school for the summer. I think I might be more excited for the break than they are. No more getting up early and getting everyone ready for school, no more driving Ryder and sometimes Chase to and from school, no more making lunches, no more making sure that everyone did their homework, etc., etc., etc. Well at least for the next 2 and a half months! Early August I'll be wishing for all of these things again and counting the days until we start the craziness all over again for another year. Will they really be in 3rd and 1st grade? I feel so old!

Stinky, the College Graduate!

I'm very proud of my little sister for graduating from college! She put in a lot of time and effort and I wish her the best!! (Too bad that my mom broke her shoulder!)

Yesterday was Ryder's last day of Kindergarten. We enjoyed an end of the year party in the afternoon. Here he is with his teacher, Mrs. Ramich. She was a wonderful teacher, very sweet and loving, exactly what a kindergarten teacher should be!






Oh wow! Our little Ryder is a Kindergarten graduate. What a big boy he is. He has learned a lot this year! We're so proud of him!

Rainy Day BBQ

Today Chase had his 2nd annual school BBQ and Ashtyn and I were there to eat lunch with Chase. As you can tell, today is also crazy hair day. Brian helped Chase to crazy up his hair. Here he is with his teacher, Mrs. Beyer. So sad that another school year is coming to an end. I can't believe he is going to be a 3rd grader!
