It's my first birthday, I'll cry if I want to!

 It all started ok, but quickly turned. I don't know if it was because everyone was taking pictures and singing but he started crying and wouldn't stop, even when I held him on my lap...

Happy again! Just look at that sweet little face! Thanks Grandma and Papa for the tricycle!

Birthday Boy Tate!

Tate in his birthday suit on his birthday. Oh my how big he is from one year ago when I first met him.

We went to Great-Grandma's for lunch and Tate ate every last crumb of his birthday cupcake at Grandma's.

Tate will always be the baby of the family but he is growing so fast! He'll soon be walking by himself and he is always on the go. He adores Chase and really gets excited when he sees him. He is starting to feel the same about Ryder as well. He is pretty much just tolerating Ashtyn at this point. She likes to think that he is her baby and constantly picking him up and trying to carry him around. It won't be long before he is toddling after her and she'll be tolerating him!

Preschool trip to the Kangaroo Farm

Ashtyn was a little nervous around all the animals, she wouldn't take a picture with any of them. I'm grateful to one of the other moms that took a few pictures of us when Ashtyn wasn't looking. Many of the kangaroos and walabys had joeys in their pouches, very cool!

I was sick most of the week and I felt terrible on Easter. I wish I had gotten some more photos! Chase wasn't with us this year, always a little sad for me.

Fun in the Tub

I can't believe that Tate is already 11 months. Only one month to go until he's one, a little sad for me. He had his first bath today in the big tub. Ashtyn had to join in too!

Ashtyn's Special Day at Preschool

 Story-time

 Line-leader... oh, how exciting to be line-leader. Ashtyn got to lead the line twice, once for chapel and then again for the playground.

 Tell, not show... she brought her Lalaloopsie for her special show and tell.

Snack time prayer... being the special person she gets to choose which prayer to say before snack time. She chose the superman prayer, a favorite, I can remember Chase and Ryder choosing the same one.
