Meet Ashtyn's new friend, Lola

Ashtyn had so much fun playing with her new friend Lola and just as much fun playing with all of Lola's toys. I hope they become life long friends like Amy and I are!!

Hurley Family Vacation Day 6 - Mt. Diablo

I lived in Danville for over 4 years and never went to Mt. Diablo. After the long drive up I finally made it. There wasn't much up there but the view was beautiful. You could even see San Francisco from the top!

Hurley Family Vacation Day 5 - Alcatraz Island

Our first look at "the rock" from the ferry.

It was such a gorgeous day in San Francisco! Here we are on the ferry with the city behind us.

The kids did really well and found it all very interesting. Chase and Ryder liked listening to the audio tour and were able to follow along.

After leaving Alcatraz we walked along the Embarcadero.

Hurley Family Vacation Day 4 - Brian's 36th Birthday!

Amy and Ben hosted a wonderful birthday BBQ for Brian, we had so much fun seeing some of our old friends.

The boys had so much fun playing in the bouncy house! One of Brian's friends, Matt dubbed them, "the fight club". Don't they look tough?

Hurley Family Vacation Day 3 - Danville

We made pretty good time yesterday and made it to Danville from Lake Oswego in about 11 hours. The kids did very well in the car, we stopped only 2 times and made it to Danville in time for dinner. Our first stop was our old stomping grounds, San Ramon Valley High School. A lot has changed in the years since we graduated. Some things remained the same, like the main hall, here the kids are at the entrance. Oh, the memories!

Here Chase is pointing to one of the years that Brian played and they were NCS Champions!

At the bottom of the sign it reads, "Gift from the class of 1994". Go Wolves!

Here's the whole gang at the Starbucks in Downtown Danville. (Chase 8, Rylee 9, Lola 2, Ashtyn 2, Ryder 6, Max 7)

Let's Bowl! One of Max's favorite past times is bowling, (he even has his own bowling shoes), we met a few friends at the Danville Bowl and had a fabulous time!

Hurley Family Vacation Day 1 - Lake Oswego

The first leg of our road trip begins with an overnight at Grandma and Papa's house.

We're off across the lake in Papa's boat for some ice cream. Ryder and Chase love to drive the boat especially when we go really fast!
